"Bachelor in Early Childhood Education" includes two fields, that is, early childhood education and child care or nurseries. The aim of this course is to cultivate students to learn the theoretical and professional knowledge, skills and the abilities of practicum in private or government kindergartens and child care centres or nurseries. The objectives of the programme are to train learners to be educators in different fields such as nursery, curriculum planning, teacher training, management, administration, editing and designing for institution of early childhood education or child care centres.

This course includes the professional theory and skills such as music, fine arts, infant and child care and early childhood education curriculum design. Students also need to learn psychology, administrative management, life education, localized multicultural education, and special educational needs and learning disabilities. This course requires students to do practice in the actual situations; There are two internships: “early childhood education practicum” and “child care practicum."
