COURSE OVERVIEW

At the end of the program, graduates should be able to:

Apply knowledge of engineering fundamentals and motorcycle engineering technology principles to motorcycle servicing and repairing procedures and practices,
Formulate solutions to motorcycle vehicle technical problems and malfunctions,
Function effectively in a diverse technical and non-technical teams,
Apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern tools and equipment to motorcycle servicing and repairing activities, with an awareness of their limitations,
Demonstrate an understanding of professional ethics, responsibilities and norms of motorcycle vehicle servicing and repairing practices,
Demonstrate an awareness of management, business practices, entrepreneurship and customer service, and,
Recognise the need for professional development and to engage in independent and lifelong learning.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Exams

Detailed entry requirements

SPM or equivalent

Pass SPM or its equivalent with at least 3 credits subjects including Mathematics and one relevant science/technical/vocational subject AND a Pass in English

Other

Other qualifications recognised as equivalent by the Malaysian Government

SKM

Pass SKM (MQF Level 3) in any relevant recognised area or its equivalent AND with at least 1 year of relevant work experience AND Pass SPM with at least 1 credit

Vocational / Technical Certificate

Pass in a vocational/technical certificate in any relevant recognised area or its equivalent AND at least 1 year of relevant work experience or a minimum of 1 semester of a bridging program and Pass SPM with at least 1 credit

Certificate

Pass in a certificate program in engineering/engineering technology in any relevant field from a HEP or recognised by the Malaysian Government with at least PNGK 2.5

Matriculation

Pass matriculation with at least PNGK 2.0 and Pass in Mathematics, English Language and 1 relevant science/technical/vocational subject at SPM level

STPM or equivalent

Pass STPM or its equivalent with a Pass in Mathematics, English Language and 1 relevant science/technical/vocational subject at SPM level
