Students undertaking the program will learn contemporary skills necessary for the participation in and management of sophisticated communicative processes in regional, urban, national and international contexts.These include critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, advanced reading and communication skills (both written and verbal), and high-level analytical skills. More widely, the degree aims to develop skills in communications and media research. This methodological training will enable students to participate in relevant research-based study and equip them with an edge for today’s competitive workplaces.
A bachelor’s degree with at least a credit average in the final year, or
A bachelor’s pass degree with demonstrable professional experience (minimum of two years) at management level in a relevant area (these applicants will need to supply a CV, a 1000-word statement and the names of two professional referees), or
A graduate diploma with credit (or above) average. Those with an honours degree or a graduate diploma in a relevant area can apply for an advanced entry point.
