The honours degree programme in graphic design at Management and Science University (MSU) is delivered by the Department of Media Science and Graphic (MSG) at the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE). Courses offered on the BGD programme include computerized graphics, theory of graphic design, history of graphic design, illustration design, typography, and graphic layout.
A system of mentoring will add depth and breadth to your understanding of graphic design. Industrial training at the end of your studies prepares you for your future career in graphic design. With industry and entrepreneurship embedded in the MSU curriculum, the learning opportunities and experiences we provide you will also develop your creativity, leadership, and soft skills.
You need at least a C (2.00 CGPA) in two (2) subjects at STPM/A-level or Jayyid in STAM or 2.00 CGPA in Matriculation/Foundation/Diploma (MQF Level 4) or a B in five (5) subjects in UEC or a score of 65%-70% in SAM or 80% aggregate score in CPU or other qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia. You need also to pass an interview and a drawing test by MSU (except for History and Design programmes) and obtain Band 1 in MUET.
