The curriculum of the MSU diploma programme in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) uniquely integrates basic knowledge of modern and conventional medical practices with traditional and complementary ones. You will be taught by experienced, industry-expert TCM practitioners. The learning opportunities and experiences we provide will add depth and breadth to your understanding and develop both your vocational and life skills. You graduate with the expected capability of diagnosing on both modern and traditional Chinese medical knowledge, prescribing modern and traditional Chinese treatments and medications, also practising traditional Chinese medicine within the healthcare industry. TCM practitioners/physicians are regulated by the Malaysian TCM Practitioners Board governed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) through the Traditional & Complementary Medicine Act.
Local Fees: RM50,000 - RM55,000*
International Fees: RM90000-RM95000*

You
need at least a Credit in any THREE (3) subjects at SPM/SPMV level and a Pass
in Science and Mathematics OR a Pass Certificate recognized by the Ministry
of Health’s Department of Traditional & Contemporary Medicine (T&CM)
plus one year working experience in a relevant field OR a PTPL Certificate in
a relevant field OR an equivalent qualification recognized by MSU
Senate.
Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) is a three-year career-focused
industry-developed programme of MSU’s School of Pharmacy.
