Students of Bachelor in Computer Science at MSU will receive a detailed and rigorous treatment of the fundamental principles of the discipline. i. Pass STPM or equivalent with at least grade C (CGPA 2.00) in 2 subjects and credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or grade C (CGPA 2.00) STPM; or ii. Pass STAM (level jayyid) and credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level; or iii. Pass Matriculation/ Foundation with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level; or iv. Pass UEC with at least grade B in 5 subjects including Additional Mathematics; or v. Diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or Information Systems or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level. Candidates with CGPA less than 2.50 but more than 2.00 with credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment process; or vi. Diploma in Science and Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 may be admitted subject to rigorous internal assessment process and credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level; or vii. Any other qualifications recognized as equivalent. Note: Candidates without credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent will be admitted if this diploma program includes subjects in Mathematics which is equivalent to the Additional Mathematics at SPM level.
