MAHSA's Diploma in Education TESL Programme aims at producing competent graduates with professional knowledge and excellent teaching skills in the field of TESL. They will be effective communicators in the English Language with knowledge of contextual and global challenges in TESL, well-equipped with skills in pedagogy and ICT, and are able who able to carry out research as a life- long learning process. Graduates will also be able to contribute to the development of TESL, leaning towards this discipline being a preferred and certified profession.
SPM
Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM/SPMV) with a minimum of credits in 3 subjects, including a minimum of C6 in English Language
UEC
Pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of a Grade B in 3 subjects including English
O-Levels
Pass in O-Levels with a minimum of a Grade C in 3 subjects
MQF Certificate
Pass in Level 3, MQF Certificate in a related field with a minimum of a Gred C with CGPA 2.00
STPM
Pass in (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum of a Grade C with GPA 2.00 in any subject
STAM
Higher Certificate in STAM with a minimum grade Maqbul
Others
Any other qualifications that are recognized by the University Senate or the Malaysian Government that can be benchmarked to a related field.
