COURSE OVERVIEW

The BBA (Hons.) Human Resource Management is an undergraduate programme with the core content of human resource disciplines. This allows students to embark on careers in varied fields such as human resource, business, management and marketing.

The programme features a mix of theoretical, practical, and applied subjects, explored and developed over the three and a half academic years. It is designed to develop students’ knowledge, skills and understanding of key functions of managing people in today’s business environment.

The programme is intended to produce graduates, who have acquired the human resource management expertise and intellectual skills in areas including organisational behaviour, industrial relation, recruitment and selection, performance management, occupational health and safety, career development and Human Resource Information System.

Academic Requirement

I. Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with minimum C grade (NGMP 2.00) and passed in any two (2) subjects and passed in Mathematics and English in SPM level or equivalent

OR

II. Passed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least grade Jayyid and passed in Mathematics and English in SPM level

OR

III. Matriculation/Foundation with minimum of CGPA 2.00 from 4.00 OR any equivalent credentials.

OR

IV. Diploma or equivalent with CGPA of 2.00

AND

For international student which score the Test of English Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum 550 OR score International English Language Testing System (IELTS) at least Band 5.5

Note :

The requirement for Mathematics and English proficiency at the SPM level for candidates (i) (ii) (iii) and (iv) may be exempted if the qualifications comprise Mathematics and English subjects and their achievement is equivalent / more than the requirement of passing the subjects at the SPM level.
