COURSE OVERVIEW

Civil Engineers are involved in the design, construction, and management of all transport systems, gas and water supply, sewage systems, dams, harbours, airports, railways, and buildings. They are also involved in the assessment of environmental impacts, pollution control, collection and treatment of industrial wastes, and project management. The profession demands high safety and professional standards in many different areas such as Geotechnical, Water, Structural, Transportation and Environmental.

At KLT, the Diploma in Civil Engineering program is aimed specifically at meeting the needs of the civil engineering profession and to equip students with the knowledge, skills competencies and awareness relating to Civil Engineering knowledge.

The course also aims to:

Produce graduates who are capable of demonstrating competence in the analysis, synthesis, judgement and communication within the civil engineering practice profession;

Zero Fees as students are covered under the KLT Scholarship Scheme (applies only to Sarawakians)
