The programme is most suitable for those who are creative and / or artistic, highly technical or with a good grasp of logic together with aspirations in dynamic career options. Game Development is a process that involves interdisciplinary cooperation of technical disciplines like software engineering and creative disciplines like art and writing.
Under the Bachelor of Game Development, students have the option of pursuing three majors: Game Art (Visuals), Game Design (Mechanics) & Game Technology (Programming). However, due to the philosophy of the programme which encourages the integration of all three distinct disciplines to simulate an actual Game Development Production Cycle, students from all three tracks will have common Game Modules along their course of studies as well as the opportunity to work in several development projects together.
STPM: 2 Principal Passes (C,C) with 2.0 CGPA
GCE A Level: 2 Principal Passes (E,E) or equivalent
Diploma: CGPA 2.0 (in relevant field)
UEC: 5 Credits (Min Grade B6)
Foundation / Matriculation in relevant field: Pass with a 2.0 CGPA
Local Polytechnic of relevant field: Pass Polytechnic Diploma with a 2.0 CGPA
Ontario Sec. Sch. Diploma (Grade 12): Pass with a 60% minimum mark
Tertiary Entrance Examination (TEE): Pass with a 60% minimum mark in 5 subjects
Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE): Pass with a 60% minimum mark
Canadian Pre University (CPU): Pass with a 60% minimum mark
