Our distinctive degree in electrical and electronic engineering was designed with the flexibility to meet both the present and future needs of the industry in Malaysia. If you are keen on green energy and the latest smart-grid technology, and envision a career with power utility companies, then you may major in Electrical Power and Renewable Energy in your fourth year. If your interest lies in advanced digital system design and embedded systems, and if you seek employment with companies like INTEL, Altera and Motorola, opt for Electronic Engineering. Communication Engineering would be your ideal major which focuses on radio frequency and optical communication.

Entry Requirementhttp:

• STPM : Min. 2 C for Mathematics & Physics



• GCE A Level : Obtain min. 6 points for 3 subjects (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry)



• Point system: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1



• UEC : Min. 5 credits (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & 1 more Science subject)



• Diploma in related field :



• Entry to Year 2: CGPA 2.0 (KDU UC Diploma)



• Entry to Year 2: CGPA 2.5 (Diploma from other institutions will be subjected to case by case evaluation)



• Foundation / Matriculation in related field :



• CGPA 2.0 or higher (KDU UC Foundation Students)



• CGPA 2.5 or higher (Foundation from other institutions)



• Any other qualifications deem equivalent by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia (or as stated in the Document Senarai Nilai Taraf, Malaysian Qualifications Agency) : Pass (Subject to review and approval of certified transcripts)
