This is a Dual Award program for Accounting and Finance. Accounting and finance is a crucial component in the operations, management, and survival of organizations. Every facet of commerce whether it be the chemical industry or a not for profit organizations, they all require accountants and finance professionals who can record, classify, summarise, interpret and communicate financial information necessary for making informed strategic choices for businesses to grow. These professionals will also help businesses follow correct accounting standards and comply with the law.
SPM
2 Principal Passes with minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) & Credit in Mathematics at SPM level
GCE ‘A’ Level
Minimum Standard: 2 Principal Passes (EE) and Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O- Level; Dual Award Required Standard: 2 Principal Passes (CC) and Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O- Level; Applicant without 2 Principal Passes (CC) may be considered on a case by case basis by the Dual Award University partner.
UEC
5 Credits (Min B6) including Mathematics at UEC/SPM level
Foundation/Matriculation
Minimum Standard: Pass with CGPA ? 2.50 and Credit in Mathematics at SPM level; Dual Award Required Standard: Pass with CGPA ? 3.00 and Credit in Mathematics at SPM level.
Australian Matriculation/Foundation
Minimum Standard: ATAR score of 55; Dual Award Required Standard: ATAR score of 70.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
Minimum Standard: 26/42 points from 6 subjects; Dual Award Required Standard: 29/42 points from 6 subjects.
Diploma
Diploma in Accounting or related field, or equivalent with CGPA ? 2.50 and Credit in Mathematics at SPM level
