The International College of Music (ICOM) was established in November 1995 and admitted its first batch of students in January 1996. The institution achieved MSC status in 2005 and all its courses are fully approved by the Malaysian Ministry of Education. Currently, it is the top college that offers formal education in contemporary music, audio production and music business at the undergraduate level in Malaysia and the Asian region. ICOM is currently run out of Jalan Pahang, Kuala Lumpur and has about 200 students enrolled in its programmes. They aim to provide the best possible music education to enhance the level of musicianship, arranging, audio production and music business skills and spearhead the growth and development of music in the region. Programmes ICOM offers programmes in Music throughout various levels. It offers foundation and degree programmes in professional music; diploma in business; and certificate in audio production.
