This programme offers specific knowledge of accounting, finance, taxation, auditing, costing, management and economics. The aims of the programme are to produce competent and dedicated accountants who possess the attributes and skills required in the accounting profession and to develop a holistic understanding of business operations, particularly in all functional areas of accounting. Through Industrial Placement at established corporations, students will be able to have valuable hands-on experience in real-life working environments. The programme is recognised by professional bodies such as the ACCA, CIMA, CPA Australia and MICPA.
STPM
Minimum 2 Principal Passes with minimum grade C+ (CGPA 2.33) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level and MUET Band 2; or
STAM
A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid, a credit in Mathematics at SPM level and MUET Band 2; or
A-Level
Minimum 2 Principal Passes (C), a C in O-Level Mathematics and MUET Band 2
UEC
Minimum 5Bs (including Mathematics and pass in English) and MUET Band 2; or
Diploma
Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and MUET Band 2; or
Matriculation/Foundation
A pass in Matriculation/Foundation with CGPA 2.50, a credit in Mathematic at SPM level and MUET Band 2; or
SAM/HSC/AUSMAT
TER/UAI: Average of 60% or higher in 5 subjects (including Mathematics) or Passes Monash University Foundation (MUFY);or Passes Australian Foundation
CPU/CIMP
Average of 60% or higher in 6 subjects (including Mathematics)
IB
26 points or higher based on 6 subjects
