COURSE OVERVIEW

This degree has been designed to provide the economics reasoning, quantitative skills and institutional knowledge required by financial economists to solve practical problems arising in finance. These skills should make graduates highly suited for further studies as well as for a career in investment banking or financial markets. This degree offers you the opportunity to combine in-depth studies in economics and finance. It provides you with the analytical tools from the skills of mathematics, statistics, economics and econometrics together with the institutional knowledge required to work as a financial economist.

A-Level / STPM

  • 2 A-Level/STPM passes with3 O-Level/SPM credits including Mathematics
  • 3 A-Level/STPM passes with O-Level/SPM credit including Mathematics

South Australian Matriculation

Score of at least 80%

Diploma

Diploma (MQF level 4) that is listed in the Malaysian Qualifications Register

UEC

  • UEC with 5 grades at least B6 (academic subjects) with 3 O-Level/SPM credits including Mathematics (also UEC Mathematics)
  • UEC with 8 grades at least B6 (academic subjects) with one subject being UEC Mathematics

Foundation

Foundation with a minimum of 2.0 CGPA with 5 O-Level/SPM credits including Mathematics and English
