The Diploma in Process Instrumentation & Control is a three-year diploma programme that provides holistic skills and knowledge in complex hybrid systems that are widely used in the industries. These modern systems integrate electrical equipment, mechanical elements, instrumentation and computers using the latest industrial communications protocols to monitor and control processes.
This course covers solid fundamentals training in the first 3 semesters in the area of electrical, electronics, mechanical and computer. The competencies gained in semester 4,5, and 6 will enable students to comprehend process control strategy, process instrumentations, programmable logic controller, pneumatics, electrical machines, calibration sensor tuning and actuators, and also the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).

At least 1 Principal and Pass 3 subjects in SPM ( Mathematics, English Language and 1 other subject )
UEC(Unified Examination Certificate)
At least 3 credits (Grade B above) Mathematics / Additional Mathematics

Must not be less than 18 years old upon application
No physical disabilities and must not be colour blind
