COURSE OVERVIEW

Diploma in Interior Design in Geomatika College International emphasizes on design studio projects, which is the primary academic component of each semester. Students will undergo 12-15 hours studio in a week to ensure the projects undertaken by them is up to the standards. The studio training is coupled with imaginative and comprehensive instruction in Interior Design history, technology, theory, digital media, techniques of representation and professional concerns. Students will also be exposed with field work and site visit for a better understanding of the site area and construction of each development process.

1. Pass SPM/ SPMV/ 0-level with at least three (3) credits; OR 2. Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in three (3) subject; OR 3. Pass STPM or equivalent with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subject; OR 4. Pass STAM rank “Maqbul”; OR 5. Obtained Certificate (MQF level 3) in the relevan field of Higher Education (PPT) which is recognized by Malaysian Government with 2.00 minimum CGPA; OR

6. Obtained Certificate in Vocational! Technical! Community College Certificate/ Sijil Kemahiran (SKM level 3) AND Pass SPM with at least one (1) credit; OR 7. Any equivalent qualification recognize by Malaysian Government. Additional Requirement: - Pass Pendidikan Seni/ Lukisan Kejuteraan at SPM level (or equivalent); OR - Pass Interviews AND Portfolio Test by PPT for those fail or did not take Pendidikan Seni/ Lukisan Kejuteraan subject at SPM level (or equivalent).
