Due to the fact that nearly every industry is becoming increasingly reliant upon computers, applications for a computer science degree are increasing. These varied applications prompt program specialization in certain sub-disciplines within the field of computer science. In the beginning, students will study the foundations of computer science and programming before moving to the advanced sub-disciplines such as quality software production, expert system, and artificial intelligence.Deciding upon a computer science major, in many cases, is a sound financial investment. The undergraduate degree in computer science is, in terms of career prospects, one of the most in demand, lucrative and stable options for today’s college graduates.
1. Pass STPM with at least Pass in two (2) subjects with at 2.00 minimum CGPA AND Pass SPM with credits in Mathematics; OR 2. Pass STAM rank “Jayyid” AND Pass SPM with credits in Mathematics; OR 3. Pass A- level with at least Pass in two (2) subjects in relevant field AND Pass 0-Level with credits in Mathematics; OR 4. Pass Matriculation /Foundation in the relevant field from PPT recognized by Malaysian Government with 2.00 minimum CG PA; OR 5. Pass Diploma (MQF level 4) in Computer Science/Information System/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent from PPT recognized by Malaysian Government with 2.50 minimum CGPA (for candidates with CGPA 2.50 below but more than 2.00 are acceptable through internal assessment process); OR
6. Other Diploma (MQF level 4) from PPT recognized by Malaysian Government with 2.50 minimum CGPA AND credit in Mathematics at SPM level;OR 7. Pass Malaysian Skills Diploma (MQF level 4) in relevant field from PPT recognized by Malaysian Government with 2.00 minimum CGPA AND Pass SPM with credit in Mathematics; OR 8. Pass Executive Diploma (MQF level 4) in relevant field from PPT recognized by Malaysian Government with 2.50 minimum CGPA;OR 9. Any equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government
