Okay, perhaps we should first clarify that there is no guarantee that studying any of these courses will lead you on merry dance, seeing you waltz your way to an eventual nine-figure net worth somewhere down the line. However, research conducted by a British recruitment agency (Aaron Wallis Sales Recruitment), examined Forbes’ list of 100 richest people in the world, and extracted vital information such as, what they studied, what their first job was and how wealthy these remarkable individuals became. So while nothing is set in stone, these are the courses most likely to see you reach that elusive club, the one starting with a capital 'B'.

The full report went on to elaborate how a whopping 75 out of the world’s top 100 billionaires have a degree, a stark reminder of the importance of an education in the current tumultuous economic climate. Out of these 75, 22 studied engineering (shout out to all would-be and current engineers out there!) with prime examples including Jeff Bezos and Larry Page. On the opposite end of the spectrum, a meager 17% of the top 100 started their careers by setting up their own respective businesses, although any end of a spectrum comprising the world’s top 100 billionaires doesn’t seem too shabby to us.
