This higher degree will equip you with the knowledge you need to successfully coordinate and plan international festivals or events, including conferences and devise policies and strategies for the overall industry.You’ll learn broad skills, such as formulating policy and planning for the future, as well as developing your abilities in research, time management and presentation methods. You’ll also develop business and marketing skills that relate specifically to the management of large and small-scale events and festivals with an international focus.Through lectures, guest speakers and case studies, you’ll develop an advanced understanding of the issues and concepts involved in the industry.
Entry Requirements
You will be eligible to apply if you have gained a bachelor degree with a 2:2 or 2.5/4.0 grade point average (GPA) or above.
English Language Requirements
Students applying to a postgraduate programme are not required to take an English language test such as IELTS, as long as the bachelor degree was taught and examined in English and they hold Malaysian Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) English Language 1119 at Grade C and above (grades 1-6).
