How long is it?
  • 15 months – 24 months 
  • (12-month express route available at select colleges)

10 months – 18 months

How is it structured?

Exams only, divided into 2 parts:

  • AS Level (First part): 50% of final grade
  • A2 Level (Second part): 50% of final grade

Main exam at end of semester

Continuous assessments throughout the year.

January & July

How many subjects must I take?
  • Minimum: 3
  • Maximum: 5

How are you graded?
  • 100% based on exams
  • Final results will be similar to SPM, where each subject will be given a grade.
  • 70% coursework + 30 % exams (SACE)
  • 50% coursework + 50% exams  (AUSMAT)
  • Final grade is a percentage made up of all 5 subjects, with the maximum score being 99%
How much does it cost?

RM20,000 – RM60,000+

RM16,000 – RM30,000

  • Cannot apply for PTPTN
  • Not as widely recognised as A-Levels
  • Minimum AUSMAT/SACE requirements for competitive degree programmes is high.
  • Not covered by PTPTN.
