With the pandemic already in effect, going to campus may be unsettling because we are accustomed to spending long periods of time at home, where our parents manage everything. So, do not be afraid!. It can actually benefit you in the long run for your future career if you communicate with the other students, the lecturers, or even the staff there. This is what the industry refers to as networking. Talking to different people will allow you to pick up as much information as possible. If you don't use the English language very often in conversation, you should start doing so right away so that you will become accustomed to it and won't feel embarrassed when you do use it. Put out of your mind what other people think about you. If you think that what you are doing is something that will make your parents proud, then you should go ahead with it.After you have been accepted to the university of your dreams, you can put these important pieces of advice to use. Always take a moment to remind yourself why you are attending university, and never forget the sacrifices that your parents have made on your behalf to ensure that your primary motivation for attending university has not shifted. Going to college does not preclude one from having a social life or enjoying themselves in any way. It's impossible to get rid of them, whether you like them or not. Even though you'll never feel truly relieved during exam season, there are some strategies that can help you cope with stress and anxiety.The first step when it comes acing your test is to always review back what you have learnt in the classroom. There are multiple ways that you can do it, for instance, memorising notes, listening to lesson audios, flashcards and even tutoring. As time passes, our memories fade. That is why it is critical to review information on a regular basis. The more valuable or complex the information, the greater the effort required. It is crucial to go over everything you have learned. When you review information, you are bringing it back to mind and strengthening your brain's connections. You are starting to move from short-term to long-term memory. The more times you review the information, the easier it is to recall it, and the information becomes more long-term. You will never forget the information if you do not act quickly!Next, it is a common belief that it is best for you to jam pack everything you have learned. However, this could not be further from the truth. While studying by itself is a crucial step in acing your test, one must remember that just like how our body gets tired from overexercising, our brain is not an exception to tiredness. Students oftentimes overwork themselves by studying non-stop with the mindset that there is no such thing as over studying. It is common knowledge that students are always associated with sleep depravity. Bear in mind that when we are sleep deprived, our focus, attention, and vigilance deteriorate, making receiving information more difficult. Not sleeping is your worst enemy! When we think of productivity or effectiveness, we usually picture someone who is actively working rather than resting. Rest, on the other hand, is an important part of working well. Breaks, such as going for a walk or exercising, improve our alertness, focus, and motivation. They can help you avoid procrastination and decision fatigue. They help us be more productive and even creative. Working without taking breaks for an extended period of time can lead to burnout.&nbsp;Did you know that healthy minds live in healthy bodies? Never forget your breakfast. Ever heard of the saying &lsquo; Eat breakfast like a king&rsquo;? Never underestimate the power of a good and healthy breakfast. According to research, students and pupils who eat breakfast perform better in exams. Slow-release carbohydrates, such as whole rolled porridge oats, whole grain bread, or low-sugar muesli, provide slow-release energy for the best breakfast. Add protein-rich food, such as milk, yoghurt, or eggs, to feel fuller for longer. Aim to include a portion of a food rich in long-chain Omega-3 fats, such as smoked mackerel, on exam day, as they are thought to have brain-boosting properties. Even though you might feel really nervous and anxious, make sure you eat a healthy and delicious breakfast on the day of the exam (or any other day). A nutritious breakfast fuels your body, balances your blood sugar levels, and speeds up your metabolism. Your brain requires water, fat, glucose, and vitamins to function properly. An iced coffee, doughnut, or energy drink will not suffice.Be sure that you know how to organise your time and yourself. Preparation is all about the timing. Doing things at the last minute is not much of a preparation now is it not? Exam preparation is all about taking your time. Rushing things out will only lead to unnecessary stress. While some students appear to thrive on last-minute cramming, it is widely acknowledged that this is not the best way to approach an exam. Create a timetable for your studies to help you manage your time. Make a list of the exams you have and the dates you have to take them. Then plan your research accordingly. One of the most popular pre-university programmes in Malaysia is SACE International. It confers the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) on students, paving the way for them to attend world-class universities. After SPM, you can pursue SACE International, which is on par with other pre-university programmes like STPM, A-Level, and Foundation. On 16 October 2018, INTEC Education College held its biyearly graduation ceremony at the Setia City Convention Centre. More than 400 students and 1,000 guests were gathered in the hall, comprising parents, lecturers and sponsors such as Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera, Yayasan Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Yayasan Pahang and more.<img class="fr-fic fr-dib" style="width: 100%;" src="https://img.afterschool.my/storage/uploads/images/getadvice/77086/5bcd33f524898.png" alt=" INTEC Education College" />Presented by UiTM Private Education Sdn Bhd chairman Prof. Sr. Ir. Dr Suhaimi Abdul Talib, 124 graduates from INTEC&rsquo;s Preparatory Programmes including A-Level German, American Degree Transfer Programme (ADTP), SACE International, Korean Preparatory Programme and Japan Preparatory Programme, as well as a total of 326 from the Professional Accountancy programmes, which are the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) proudly received their certificates after long years of committed hard work.<img class="fr-fic fr-dib" style="width: 100%;" src="https://img.afterschool.my/storage/uploads/images/getadvice/77086/5bcd33f5358d3.jpg" alt="Setia City Convention Centre." />On top of that, 9 graduates from INTEC&rsquo;s diploma programmes including Diploma in Scientific Halal Practices, Diploma in Public Management &amp; Governance dan Diploma in Business Management were also celebrated on that day.Among the graduates there were a significant number of students who also obtained the Chief Executive Award, an award granted to students who have achieved excellence in academic, sports, co-curriculum and soft skills.The guests were treated to a number of special performances by Fara Diva from UiTM&rsquo;s Music Faculty and duo The Hauz from INTEC&rsquo;s ACCA programme, including musical performances of the songs &lsquo;Flashlight&rsquo;, &lsquo;You Raise Me Up&rsquo; and &lsquo;Kau Ilhamku&rsquo;, as well as a meaningful Malay sajak by ACCA student Ilya Zulaikha.<img class="fr-fic fr-dib" style="width: 100%;" src="https://img.afterschool.my/storage/uploads/images/getadvice/77086/5bcd33f544e4c.jpg" alt="INTEC&rsquo;s ACCA programme" />Before the event came to a close, INTEC&rsquo;s ACCA valedictorian, Muhammad Amin Azfar bin Abdul Rahman from the ACCA programme delivered a meaningful and inspiring speech to his fellow graduates and lecturers. With a great amount of energy, he urged that graduation did not mark an end, but a new beginning.The Deloitte Excellence Award, the first of its kind in collaboration with INTEC, was granted to two ACCA graduates, Wan Nur Anis binti Wan Zaidi and Mohd Arif Irfan bin Mohd Jalani for their abilities to achieve academic excellence in their ACCA Professional Level Papers.<img class="fr-fic fr-dib" style="width: 100%;" src="https://img.afterschool.my/storage/uploads/images/getadvice/77086/5bcd33f554339.jpg" alt="INTEC Achievers" />This year marked a great achievement for INTEC, with more than 80% of their graduates from the Korean Preparatory Programme, ADTP and Diploma programmes scoring a CGPA of 3.00 and above. INTEC Graduation Ceremony will be held on 16th October 2018 (Tuesday) at Setia City Convention Centre. Around 532 students will receive their graduation certificates by YBhg Prof Sr. Ir. Dr Suhaimi Abd Talib, Chairman of UiTM Private Education Sdn Bhd.
