The program is designed to provide high-performing undergraduate students with the oppoturnity to undertake advanced academic study and to develop key messages and writing news releases in a dynamic manner and skills necessary to become media practitioners and more informed media consumers. Potential journalist will learn the Impact of different news and their consequences on society. Taking up this degree can help students develop persuasive and creative skills as well as strengthen their capability for critical and analytical thinking, while upholding professional standards.
• Passed Sijil Tinggi pelajaran Malaysia (STPM )/A-Level with a pass in two (2) subjects or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR • Passed Foundation Studies in City University College of Science & Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or recognized by the Malaysian Government; OR • Passed Diploma from any Higher Learning Institution recognized by the Malaysian Government with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR • Passed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least a Jayyid rank and passed SPM or equivalent with minimum Band 1 in MUET; OR
• Passed International Baccalaureate (IB) with minimum 24 points; OR • Passed Canadian Pre-University (CPU ) with a minimum average of 50%; OR • Passed South Australian Matriculation (SAM ) with TER 70; OR • Passed Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT ), AU with a minimum average of 50%; OR • Passed New South Wales Higher School Certificate (HSC ) (Yr12), AU with a minimum average of 50%; OR • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
Passed Diploma/Executive Diploma/Higher National Diploma/Advance Diploma or other Diploma recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE) with minimum CGPA 2.00
