COURSE OVERVIEW

BA (Hons) in Accounting is accredited by both the leading professional accounting bodies in Australia and UK. Graduates of our BA (Hons) in Accounting can apply for direct membership with the CPA (Australia) as well as enjoy the maximum possible exemptions accorded by ACCA (UK).

This 3-year honors degree provides a sound foundation in accounting, auditing and taxation which provides many career pathways including that of chartered accountants, management accountants, financial controllers and tax consultants.

Programme Aims:

The aim of the Diploma in Accounting (DIA) is to produce qualified accounting technicians; professionals who assist Chartered Accountants to get their job done.

DIA graduates can progress to the second year of the BA (Hons) in Accounting which prepares them to become Chartered Certified Public Accountants.

The BA (Hons) in Accounting has been designed to meet the needs of people planning for careers in Accounting.

Malaysian students:

Direct Entry tO-Levels 1 of the Degree:- •2 Principal Passes at STPM level and with 3 Credit Passes at SPM or •2 Passes with at ‘A’ Levels and with a Credit Pass at ‘O’ Levels / GCSE or •The Binary Foundation Degree in Arts or equivalent with CGPA of 2.0 and Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level; or 5 Grade B’s in UEC or •Ontario Secondary School Diploma with minimum average of 50%; or •Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with minimum average of 50%; or •Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with minimum average of 60%; or •South Australian Matriculation Certificate (SAM) with minimum of 60%; or •International Baccalaureate with minimum 24 marks; •Victorian Certificate of Education with minimum average of 50%; *Any qualification that Binary University Accepts.

International students:
