Diploma in Health Sciences (course ? 2 1/2 years or 5 semesters in the same institution)
CGPA ? 3.5 (out of 4)
Degree in Health or Pure or Applied Sciences
CGPA ? 3.0 (out of 4)
Degree in the Arts or Humanities
CGPA ? 3.5 (out of 4) and 3 Cs each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science, Mathematics or Additional Mathematics at SPM or its equivalent OR an accredited bridging course.
SPM / O-Level
Applicants must have obtained 5Bs each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (or Additional Mathematics) and another subject. Must pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Applicant must NOT have failed in any other subjects listed in the results transcript.
English Language Requirement
All applicants should have attained the required level of competence in English. All applicants must have taken or registered for MUET upon applying for the programme.
Aptitude Test / Interview
All eligible applicants are required to attend an interview (to be conducted by AIMST University).
Additional Requirement from MDC
A person with any of the following shall be disqualified from entry into a dental programme: found guilty of offence(s) affecting the human body; recent or serious dishonesty e.g. cheating at examinations, falsification of documents, plagiarism; serious physical or mental illness; and/or serious communicable disease(s).
