Nurses form a key part of the medical team. In hospital settings, nurses are the frontline of any medical action, providing most parts of patient care. They administer medications, supervise the use of medical equipment, observe and directly care for patients, and act as intermediary between patients and their families and physicians. A nurse’s job varies depending upon where he or she works.Nurses may practice in the hospitals, clinics, physician offices, private homes, schools, pharmaceutical companies (usually as researchers), industry (occupational health settings), cruise ships, retirement homes, hospice facilities, long-term care facilities, military facilities, and even campus. Some nurses may also advise and work as consultants in the healthcare, insurance, or legal industries. Nurses can work full or part-time, and many work on a per diem basis or as travelling nurses.The Vision Diploma in Nursing (DNS) is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to be qualified as a Registered Nurse, enabling them to enter the workforce in the healthcare industry as a Nurse at the moment they graduate.This programme focuses both on sciences and the arts; the sciences is the application of nursing knowledge and the technical aspects of practice while the art is the establishment of a caring relationship through which nurses apply nursing knowledge, skills and judgement in a compassionate behaviour.Students ...

It is also recognized by Ministry of Health & the Malaysian Nursing Board.
Entry Requirements
SPM/ O-Level or equivalent- Min. 5 credits (must at least pass Bahasa Melayu, Sejarah and English, credit in any Science subjects and Mathematics).
STPM & A-Levels- Min. 3C’s
UEC- Min. 3 B6’s
