COURSE OVERVIEW

IT has emerged as a different technology through focus and computing techniques, telecommunications and multimedia. This three-year program is designed to produce semi-professional graduates in the field of computer networking in line with the latest technological developments. The program exposes students to network system wiring skills, network system configuration and network management. Students are also exposed to network management such as work to identify problems, repair and maintain network systems. Students are also exposed to industrial training in government or private agencies for 4 months. Graduates can also further their studies at the Bachelor's Degree level in related fields to meet the needs of the current workforce.

  • Passed SPM / SPMV or equivalent - 3 credits- including Mathematics and two (2) other subjects ; OR
  • Pass O-Level with at least Grade C in three (3) subjects - including Mathematics ; OR
  • Pass SKM Level 3 in related fields AND pass SPM with at least credit in Mathematics ; OR
  • Passed MQF Level 3 equivalent Community College Certificate in related fields; AND passed SPM with a minimum of credit in Mathematics ; AND strengthening programs (if necessary); OR
  • Passed Certificate (Level 3 MQF) with CGPA 2.0 in related field AND passed SPM with at least credit in Mathematics ; OR
  • Passed STPM or equivalent with at least grade C (NGMP 2.0) in one (1) subject and credit in SPM level Mathematics; OR
  • Passed STAM rank Maqbul and credit in Mathematics at SPM level; OR
  • Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia
