The programme prepares graduates to be competent in the discipline of Electronic Systems Engineering with Computing, particularly driving the information and communication technology (ICT). It emphasis design skills and knowledge that integrates both hardware and software into a system with application in Digital Signal and Image Processing (as in camera and video), Intelligent System and Networking.The programme is to produce graduates with skills in using sophisticated software design tolls for designing electronic circuits and systems. To break away from the theory-based traditional learning style, we tend to emphasis more on practical design work, to put theory into practice.
Entry Requirements
STPM with 2 principal passes Or A-level with 2 passes or South Australian matriculation (SAM) with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and grade B in 2 relevant subjects Or Canadian Pre-University with an average of 70% in 6 relevant subjects Or Unified examination certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 5 relevant subjects
Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Or Foundation from other Institutions Of Higher Learning Or Matriculation certificate, Ministry of Education Or Diploma,Tunku Abdul Rahman Universiti college (TAR UC) Or Diploma from other Institutions Of Higher Learning Or Other equivalent qualifications AND -A credit in SPM/O-level Mathematics/ equivalent/Grade B in 1 Mathematics subject for UEC applicants -a pass in SPM Physics/UEC Physics
