Finance is a broad term that concerns the management of money and the acquisition of funds by individuals, business entities and governments. It deals with activities such as managing financial resources for daily operations, the designing of sound financial or investment strategy, raising of funds, acquiring low-cost credit, fund allocation and financial risk management.The Bachelor of Finance (Hons) studies the diverse activities of finance and is designed to train and equip students with relevant knowledge and skills that are highly employable in the financial industry.Graduates of the Bachelor of Finance (Hons) are eligible for certain exemptions from the professional examinations of ACCA, ICSA and FPAM. Furthermore, certain higher positions in organisations are required by law to be professionally qualified.
Entry Requirements
STPM with 2 principal passes Or A-level with 2 passes Or South Australian matriculation (SAM) with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and grade B in two subjects Or Canadian Pre-University with an average of 70% in 6 subjects Or Unified examination certificate (UEC) with Grade B5 in 5 subjects
Foundation in Arts, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Or Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Or Foundation from other Institutions Of Higher Learning Or Matriculation certificate, Ministry of Education
Diploma,Tunku Abdul Rahman Universiti college (TAR UC) Or Diploma from other Institutions Of Higher Learning
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government AND A credit in 1 SPM mathematics subject/ equivalent
