It plays an indispensable role in keeping society and people of all walks of life with information needed to make the best possible decisions on issues that affect them or in which they have stakes. The surge in web, blogging, social media outlets and messaging apps have brought dramatic changes to the way of accessing and spreading news and information, and the speed news and information travels.The Bachelor of Communication (Hons) Journalism will provide students with solid knowledge in composing professional level articles fit for publishing on different media channels. Graduates will find themselves ready for the challenges and excitement waiting for them in the world of journalism. Graduates with professional journalistic ability and skills are also sought after by all sectors of commerce and industry.
Entry Requirements
STPM with minimum 2 principal passes Or A-level with minimum 2 principal passes Or South Australian matriculation (SAM) with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in 2 subjects Or Canadian Pre-University with an average of 70% in 6 subjects Or
Foundation in Arts, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Or Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Or Foundation from other Institutions Of Higher Learning Or Matriculation certificate, Ministry of Education or
Diploma,Tunku Abdul Rahman Universiti college (TAR UC) Or Diploma from other Institutions Of Higher Learning Or Other equivalent qualifications AND a credit in SPM/O-level English Language or Unified examination certificate (UEC) with grade B in 5 relevant subjects including English Language/credit in SPM English Language
