They provide businesses with meaningful information to make sound decisions and allow businesses to strategise and achieve its business objectives.Accountants play a central role in auditing, budgeting, tax planning, investing, financing, raising of capital and etc.The Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Accounting has been developed with the aim to train and educate competent, dedicated and professional accountants who are highly sought after by various industries.Students of the Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Accounting are eligible for certain exemptions from the professional examinations of ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CPA, MICPA, ICSA and CTIM.
Entry Requirements
STPM with two principal passes of Grade C+ Or A-level with two passes of Grade D Or South Australian matriculation (SAM) with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and grade B in two subjects Or Canadian Pre-University with an average of 70% in 6 subjects
Foundation in Arts, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) with minimum CGPA 2.50 Or Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) with minimum CGPA 2.50 Or Foundation from other Institutions Of Higher Learning with minimum CGPA 2.50 Or Matriculation certificate, Ministry of Education with minimum CGPA 2.50
Diploma,Tunku Abdul Rahman Universiti college (TAR UC) with minimum CGPA 2.50 Or Diploma from other Institutions Of Higher Learning with minimum CGPA 2.50
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government with minimum CGPA 2.50 AND A credit in 1 SPM mathematics subject/ equivalent, A pass in SPM English language/ equivalent and Malaysian University English test (MUET) Band 2/ IELTS Band 5.5/ TOEFL score of 550 Or Unified examination certificate with minimum grade B5 In 5 subjects including one mathematics subject and a pass In English language and Malaysian University English test (MUET) Band 2/ IELTS Band 5.5/ TOEFL score of 550
