This programme provides a basic foundation in Mechanical Engineering. Our graduates will become engineers in assembly lines, Research and Design (R&D), sales and marketing or quality control fields. With this qualification,graduates may become a Professional Engineers and can then further their studies in Institutions of Higher Learning )IHL) leading to a Master’s Degree and followed by a PHD study.

The programme is usually offered to candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering as well as to those who have completed the Science Matriculation Programme. The duration of this programme is four years and comprises eight semesters for a full-time study mode. Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from UiTM would be admitted to the third semester with credits exemptions while candidates from the Matriculation Asasi UiTM Programme would begin from the first semester. Candidates with other diploma qualifications would be admitted to the second or third semester with consideration of credits transfer.
