This department was established in August 1996 and after 15 years of existence, we have come to a high level of excellence in academic and research performance. This is reflected in the last 4 year’s of achievement where the department has continuously maintained the 5 Star rating and also the Overall Best Department in 2009. The department is also among one of the highest contributors in research publications in this faculty. In recent years, we have won 40 research awards from national and international exhibitions namely GENEVA, British Invention Show, IENA, Germany, INPEX, Pittsburgh, EUREKA, Belgium.
