COURSE OVERVIEW
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at UMT is designed for students who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in the respective areas. Enrollments include practitioners from various industries and levels, which allow students to engage in critical discussions in the classroom.
More importantly for an industry-relevant degree such as MBA, several of PPPPM lecturers have professional and industry experiences in the fields of accounting, business, finance and investments, and logistics, which further enhances the quality of our MBA via teaching and research.
There are two modes of study for UMT MBA (full-time or part-time), and the duration required to complete the programme depends on these modes:

- Minimum of four semesters (16 months) for full-time*, or six semesters (24 months) for part-time or;
- Maximum of eight semesters (32 months) for full-time, or 12 semesters (48 months) for part-time.
- Part Time: Registered for less than nine (9) credits in a semester/module with a minimum of three (3) credits or one course (whichever is applicable).
- Full Time: Registered for at least nine (9) credits in a semester/module. The maximum credit load is 15. Applicants who are sponsored must register as full time students

- aA bachelor’s degree in related field with minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the Senate; or
- A bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent with CGPA below 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in relevant field as accepted by the Senate; or
- A bachelor’s degree or any other academic qualifications in related field and possesses evidence of adequate work experience recognised by the Senate; or
- A proof of English proficiency (for international candidates only):
- TOEFL : 500; or
- IELTS : 5.5 ; or
- A proof of adequate command of English specified by respective school.
