Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) (Hons) provides the candidates with sound knowledge in the areas of early childhood studies in general. At the national level, there is a need to produce graduates who are competent in knowledge and skill as well as possess high sense of professionalism and integrity. This programme offers the window of opportunities to candidates who see their future in the paths of knowledge workers through higer level of studies and contributing towards accelerating growth leading to a high income nation in 2020.
Generally student work as practitioners, centre owner, Tadika/Taska Managers, Parent child consultant, ECE policy maker, special education expert, child space designer, child toy designer and any other related.
You must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for entry to the UNITAR Bachelor's Programme: Pass STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in two (2) subjects; OR Pass STAM with a minimum of Grade Jayyid; OR Pass Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent; OR Diploma in Early Childhood Education or its equivalent; OR Pass any Diploma or its equivalent; OR Pass BTEC Level 4 & 5 and pass SPM with at least three (3) credits in any subjects; OR Through ‘Open Entry’ where candidates have to fulfill these requirements: Aged not less than 21 years old and have a minimum requirement of PMR
ADDITIONAL TERMS
Pass TOEFL with a minimum score of 500 points or score 5.5 in IELTS for international students (or its equivalent). Should the candidates do not meet these requirements, the university must offer courses in ‘English Language Proficiency’ in ensuring student’s language proficiency is sufficient for the whole program. This exercise will be organized through a rigorous internal assessment process.
