COURSE OVERVIEW

To produce

competent, upright and ethical professional of Business Administration graduates

who possess intellectual, technical, analytical, communicative, leadership and

entrepreneurial skills. This program aims to prepare students with skills and

aptitude to design halal as well as financial management strategies, to be able

to integrate formal academic learning with finance and halal management related

experiential training to relate to the market needs in accordance to the

Shariah, Halal Management program provides students with a thorough understanding

on legal principles of Halal requirements and authorities and how they operate

as to give impact to halal position in Malaysia.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Detailed entry requirements

Passed STPM or equivalent, with minimum grade C+ (NGMP 2.33) in any tho subjects, and credit in Mathematics OR
Pass a Certificate in Higher Education in Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum Jayyid grade (good), and credit in Mathematics OR
Eligibility equivalent to a Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5, MOH), OR
Graduated from UEC with a minimum of Grade B in five subjects including Maths and English passing OR
Pass the Malaysian Vocational Diploma (DVM) from institutions recognised by the Government of Malaysia and the university Senate in any one of the following areas:

Insurance
Marketing
Office Management
Business Management
Retail Management
Accounting
Banking; AND Pass the Vocational Certificate Malaysia (SVM) equivalent to 3 Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) credits for candidates earning: -
Honors in English in 1104
Academic GPS > 2.0 and
Vocational Values > 2.67
Competition of all vocational modules

**Note: The SVM program entry requirements for the DVM program for the 2012-2016 cohort are as above. For SVM graduates, cohort 2013-2016, SVM equivalency with 3 SPM credits should also take into account passing SPM History subjects; OR

Other qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia.

For International Students, students must have a minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS or equivalent.
**Note: Mathematics and English Language requirements at SPM level for candidates (i) and (ii) may be excluded if the eligibility includes Mathematics and English subjects and their achievement/ equivalent to the requirement of passing the subject at SPM level.
