Bachelor in Information Technology programme is a vocationally oriented programme emphasizing the resolution of technological problems leading to the effective management and analysis of information in both private and public sectors.The programme’s foundation is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills in key areas of IT as well as professionally relevant knowledge, qualities and skills in such areas as problem solving, communication, ethics and teamwork. Ultimately, the programme will produce students who can respond, anticipate and lead change. Students are required to attend an internship programme to apply theory into the business world.
Recognised Matriculation or Foundation with CGPA 2.0 AND credit in Mathematics at SPM Level; Or
Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with credit in Mathematics AND Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) with 2 full passes (inclusive of Pengajian Am) or equivalent with
minimum CGPA of 2.0; Or
A Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering or
Equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5. Candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 may be
admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process; Or
Any other Diploma with with minimum CGPA of 2.5 with credit in Mathematics at SPM level. Or
Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least Jayyid (Good) Level AND
Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with at least three (3) credits, inclusive of Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics;
