Industrial Psychology studies human behavior at the workplace in any working environment. Among the areas of focus for this degree program includes employment decision making, employee assessment, training needs analysis, group work dynamic, organizational crisis management, and work psychology, leadership and motivation, among others.For this program, students will graduate with a degree majoring in Industrial Psychology and minoring in Business. A degree in Industrial Psychology will allow graduates to understand how organizational dynamics and environmental influences affect the efficiency, productivity, success and overall performance of any given organization.
Foundation certificate by UNISEL / Matriculation Certificate by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) with the minimum CGPA of 2.00 or other equivalent qualification that is recognized by the Malaysian government; or
Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) / A-Level or its equivalent with at least 2 Principals.
Diploma with the minimum CGPA of 2.00 from private or public tertiary educational institutions and obtained at least the minimal standard of qualification as outlined by the LAN (now known as the MQA); or
Other qualification that is equivalent to those mentioned above and recognized by the Malaysian government.
i. Matriculation or Foundation or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00;
OR
ii. Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of 2 full passes with CGPA 2.00;
iii. A Diploma or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00;
(Note: All the above qualifications need to be supported with at least credits in Mathematics and Science and a pass in English at SPM level)
iv. A Diploma in Psychology with minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00;
(Note: The requirement of credit in Mathematics and Science with the addition of a pass in English at SPM level for cadidate (i), (ii) and (iii) can be exempted IF the credentials contains Mathematics, Science and English subjects that are equivalent to SPM level.)
v. Other relevant or equivalent qualification, experience and requirement accepted by the HEP Senate/competent authority in Malaysia.
