The aims of the Bachelor of Communication and Media (Honours) (Media Design) programme are to provide opportunity for the undergraduates to gain knowledge, and contemporary communication and media skills to be implemented within a variety of media design contexts.

The course provides students with knowledge, skills and attitude such as provided below:

• Knowledge - Provide solid foundation in the fundamentals of communication and media design with emphasis on the understanding of concepts.



• Skill - Nurture critical thinking and the ability to integrate and apply the knowledge gained to identify, analyse and solve problems based on qualitative and quantitative analysis as well as communicate effectively when working independently or in a team.



• Attitude - Inculcate positive values and attitudes, stressing on ethics and professionalism, sensitivity to the diverse cultures of nation and the desire for lifelong learning.
