Under UCSI University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the MQA-approved Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Technology aims to equip science graduates with enhanced knowledge to conduct research and development for the local and global science & technology industry. Through this postgraduate programme, learners will contribute positively to the betterment of the society by pioneering advances in pharmaceutical research and development.Taught by the faculty’s professional academicians, the programme seeks to instill learners with life-long learning to develop creative, critical problem-solving skills with good communication, management and leadership skills. It will also open doors to career development opportunities for science graduates.Using a mixed-mode structure, this structural combination of coursework and dissertation o?ers advanced knowledge in pharmaceutical technology, as well as ‘elective’ management courses under the Faculty of Business & Information Science.
Qualifications
Academic Requirements
Minimum CGPA of 2.75.
Five (5) years relevant working experience is required for applicants who do not meet the minimum CGPA.
English Language Requirements
Minimum IELTS of 6.0 or TOEFL 550 (PBT) / 230 (CBT) / 80 (IBT) to be obtained before admission or achieved above 70% for English Enrichment Programme (EEP) level 10 of UCSI University. To be obtained before admission.
International Students
To sit for English Placement Test (EPT) and enroll into CETE programme until fulfil the above English requirement within 12 months upon arrival.
