COURSE OVERVIEW

While the hospitality and tourism industry may be service-oriented, it is not exempt from rapid digital disruptions, accelerated by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Those keen on joining this industry must keep pace meeting the emerging transformations, challenges and trends.

Our Foundation in Arts (Hospitality and Tourism) programme is synergistic as it is integrated. Tailored to expose you to the diverse aspects of hospitality and tourism such as business and event management, it paves way for a seamless entry into your hospitality or tourism degree programme. Or acquire the right skills to start your career in any part of the world.

Other qualifications deemed equivalent to SPM/O-Level by Malaysian Qualifications Agency

Overall average score of 60%

Overall average score of 50%

English Language Requirements

A distinction (A+, A or A-) in the English Language subject at SPM/UEC level; or MUET Band 5; or a score of 196 (computer-based) / 525 (writing-based) / 69-70 (internet-based) in TOEFL; or Band 4.0 in IELTS.
In the event that the English Language Requirements are not met, student may be required to undertake additional English module(s) prior to or concurrently with the undergraduate programme, based on the University’s decision.

Note / Legend:

Discretion is given to the Head of School to deal with applicants who have results borderline to the Academic Requirements.
