With news filtering through that Yayasan Bank Rakyat will be opening their hugely popular Pinjaman Pendidikan Boleh Ubah (PPBU) soon, students may be left confused as to how they may apply for it. The PPBU has proved to be a popular alternative to PTPTN, and here, we explain how you too can apply for PPBU in 2018 in a step-by-step manner.
Step 1: All applications to YBR's PPBU must be made online via https://www.yayasanbankrakyat.com.my/
Step 2: BEFORE a student fills in an application, they MUST obtain a place at a an IPTA/IPTA/
Step 3: An applicant must register and create an account on the YBR website to obtain the application form to be filled in.
Step 4: Once a student has successfully completed filling in the application form, they MUST print it out as a personal reference.
Step 5: Once the closing date has elapsed, applicants will be asked to answer a general knwoledge quiz.
Step 6: After a set amount of time, successful YBR PPBU candidates will be announced on the official website and offers letters will be posted.
Tier 1 (Diploma, Certificate, Skills Diploma) opens from April 2 - June 29, 2018.
Tier 2 (Degree, Masters, Professional, PhD) opens from July 2 - September 28, 2018.
