7 Steps to Make your Next PTPTN Payment at 7-Eleven

PTPTN has become synonymous with higher education in Malaysia, with throngs of students relying on it to finance their university/college courses. Paying PTPTN back, which previously involved a lot of hair-pulling, is slowly and surely being made easier. In line with that, PTPTN has now created a new avenue for you to make those payments – 7-Eleven! Learn how you can now use 7-Eleven to pay PTPTN back. So, can you actually just walk into any 7-Eleven and make a PTPTN payment? Technically, yes you can! However, you must complete the steps below first. Don’t worry, it’s really simple.

Step 1: Go to http://www.ptptn.gov.my/molpay/

• Fill in your IC number (of borrower)
• Click on the “Cari” button

Step 2: Click on “Teruskan”

Step 3: Fill in your details and then click “Seterusnya”

Step 4: Your information will pop up on screen to review. Click on “Pembayaran” to proceed

Step 5: The payment information will then appear. Click on “Proceed”

Step 6: Print the payment information

Step 7 (BONUS): Head on over to 7-Eleven to make the payment

After following the steps above, you will have the payment sheet you need. Now, you can walk into a 7-Eleven and make your PTPTN payment with next to no hassle. Do remember to take your payment sheet with you (as show above) as if you don’t, you’ll probably end up having a very awkward stare-off with the cashier, where neither of you will know what’s actually going on.

Note: Make sure you make the payment prior to the date that’s stipulated your payment sheet.
