The TAR UMT Merit Scholarship is awarded to outstanding Malaysian students in the form of tuition fee waiver of up to 100%.
Candidates who meet the scholarship criteria will be automatically offered the Merit Scholarship (Terms & Conditions Apply) upon admission.
Applicant must meet all the below requirements
BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES
100% Tuition Fee Waiver:
50% Tuition Fee Waiver:
*straight passes in all courses (including co-curriculum courses for Diploma)
25% Tuition Fee Waiver:
**effective June 2024 intake
20% Tuition Fee Waiver:
Including A-
Merit scholarship is for full-time programmes.
Note: There shall be NO upward adjustment even if scholars obtained a higher CGPA threshold thereafter.

15% Tuition Fee Waiver (Foundation programmes only)

Available for all Foundation, Diploma and Bachelor Degree programmes.
