The Academic Excellence Award (AKA) is established to recognise the outstanding academic achievements of graduates, particularly those with a CGPA of 3.50 and above from Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes.
A RM1,000 incentive is awarded to graduates who meet the application eligibility requirements, indirectly motivating them to continue excelling in the future, in line with the objectives of Yayasan Bank Rakyat to promote knowledge enrichment, creative learning, and socio-economic improvement for those from underprivileged backgrounds.
Applicant must meet all the below requirements
Applicants must be graduates of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes from accredited public or private universities (IPTA/IPTS).
A CGPA of 3.50 and above.
Must have obtained a Full Transcript or Graduation Letter (Senate Letter) for graduates from January 2023 to February 2025.
Applicants must be aged 50 or below at the application deadline.
Graduates from overseas institutions must first obtain an equivalency certification from the university, with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 (First Class Honours).
Applicants are only eligible to receive this award once in their lifetime.
