Overview

International education and training from the TaiwanICDF shares Taiwan’s own development experiences with developing partner countries around the world. Our aim is to help these partner countries cultivate and nurture a talented pool of human resources.

Our International Higher Education Scholarship Program was initiated in 1998 when we joined forces with a group of Taiwanese universities to offer scholarships for a number of English-language courses, up to and including Ph.D. level.

The program enables talented young citizens to come to Taiwan to pursue their higher education and follow course materials and learning objectives that are specifically designed to address key development issues. The program provides full financial support for tuition and living expenses, and having grown in scope over the years, now covers 35 courses from 21 universities — 11 bachelor’s, 21 master’s and 3 Ph.D. programs
