To produce quality graduates who are knowledgeable and competent in maritime industry specialized in engineering. This program gives knowledge about elements and functions regarding maritime technology engineering, identifying problems in operation and maintenance, as well as provides guidance and practical skills in the field of engineering technology, including shipping and oil & gas.
Passed SPM/SPMV with 3 credits inclusive of Mathematics and 1 science subject/ technical/ Vocational and obtained pass in English; or School Requirement: Physics should be credit and Additional Maths should pass
Passed Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 3 subjects inclusive of Mathematics and 1 science subject/ technical/ Vocational and obtained pass in English ; or School Requirement: Physics should be B
Passed O-Levels with Grade C in 3 subjects inclusive of Mathematics and 1 sciences subject/ technical/ Vocational and obtained pass in English; or School Requirement: Physics should be C
Passed Malaysian Skill Certificate Level 3 in related fields and;
1 credit in SPM/SPMV;
Further study in diploma in the same field;
Posses 1 year of working experience or at least join bridging programme for 1 semester as reinforcement program for students from skills/ technical to academic sector OR;
Passed Community College Certificate Level 3 MQF in related fields; and
Posses 1 year of working experience or at least join for 1 semester as reinforcement program for students from join bridging skills/ technical to academic sector
Passed Vocational and Technical/Skills Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in related field or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; and posses 1 year of working experience or at least programme for 1 semester as reinforcement program; or
Passed Marine Engineering Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in related field from IKM/IKBN/Polytechnic with CGPA 2.50
Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in 1 subject and passed Mathematics, English and 1 science subject/ technical/ Vocational in SPM level (equivalent); or School Requirement: Physics
Passed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with Maqbool Rank passed Mathematics, English and 1 science subject/ technical/ Vocational in SPM level (equivalent); or School Requirement: Physics
Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government; or
APEL with 3 years of working experience in Marine Engineering field or 3 years of on-board specialisation in engine. Foreign Students:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score 500 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score 5.0 or equivalent.
