Internal Scholarships Provided by UOW Malaysia College's Nursing and Allied Health
The scholarships are provided by UOW Malaysia KDU with their UOW Malaysia KDU Excellence Award Scholarship and High Achievers Scholarship.
Student Accommodation
The UOW Malaysia KDU, Utropolis Glenmarie provides on-campus Student Accommodation at its 10-acre campus. Located next to the academic block, is the Student Accommodation Block covering 7-levels, divided into male and female wings. Services such as an on campus convenience store and internet service is available. The campus is part of Utropolis, a university metropolis in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. The Utropolis project consists of a retail centre, residential suites and the UOW Malaysia KDU, Utropolis Glenmarie.
Transportation
UOW Malaysia KDU Residency provides free shuttle service for students to travel between campuses and selected areas. For more information, please refer to the Transportation page.
Things to Do Around the Campus
There are many amenities near the UOW Malaysia KDU Residency area: on-campus 7-Eleven convenience store, in-house restaurants, salon and more.
There are a host of eateries nearby. These include restaurants serving halal and fast food at CITTA Mall, Giant Hypermarket and AEON Shah Alam.
Also available is Utropolis Marketplace – various eateries, banks (ATM), convenience store, hiking camp 5, clinics, Co-Labs and many more.

Affiliated Organisations & Job Opportunities
Nursing students can undergo their placement at RSDH, Sunway, Tropicana, Assunta, Beacon, UMSC, Singapore National and many more hospitals. All this is possible after an interview by HR personnel from respective hospitals above.
In terms of internship, students from the following courses can do their internship at the centres below:
Nursing, Medical Assistant, Physiotherapy: RSDH hospitals (Malaysia & Australia), Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL), Serdang Hospital, Kajang Hospital, Sungai Buloh Hospital, Hospital Tanjung Karang, University Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM), UKM Medical Centre (HUKM), Hospis Malaysia
General Education Subjects (MPU)
Students must take one MPU subject per semester. The subjects include Malaysian Studies 2, Personal and Professional Development 1, Islamic Studies/Moral Studies, and Industrial Training.
