The Doctor of Philosophy in Transportation and Logistics (by Research) provides opportunities to students to conduct in-depth research in specialised areas while maintaining a reasonable breadth of knowledge in the dynamic field of transportation and logistics. This programme also offers sufficient flexibility to students to develop their study and research that cross traditional disciplinary and departmental boundaries. This is necessary to tackle the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of transportation and logistics issues and problems.
Academic Requirement
Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:
English Proficiency
Language Proficiency – Applicants will be required to provide documentary evidence of proficiency in English in one of the following examinations:
i. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) at a score of 600, or higher; or
ii. International English Language Testing Services (IELTS) at a minimum overall score of 6.5 and at least a 6.0 score in each individual component of the test; or
iii. Provide proof of English proficiency as evaluated through MUST English Placement Test and personal interviews.
