COURSE OVERVIEW

The Diploma in Nursing held at MAHSA University is a popular three-year program. Its popularity lies in its being a program for a wide variety of young people with a wide variety of qualifications. SPM

Pass with minimum 5 credits including Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics, 1 Science subject (Biology / Chemistry / Physics / Applied Science), with 2 other subjects and pass in English

O-Level / Equivalent

Pass with minimum 5 credits including Mathematics (Elementary / Modern / Additional), 1 Science subject (Biology / Chemistry / Physics / Applied Science), with 3 other subjects

Certificate

Possess Assistant Nurse Certificate / Community Nurse Certificate / current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for nurses from the Nursing Board Malaysia

Experience

Minimum 3 years of clinical working experience

Health Requirements

  • All students must be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner within one month from the commencement of the nursing programme
  • Students must not have any physical disabilities or impaired senses that hinder nursing dexterity
  • Students with medical conditions such as HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Epilepsy, mental health disorders, and color blindness cannot be admitted into the programme
  • Due to the potential risks to pregnant women, they will not be considered for this programme
